Rules of Play

 

 

You should have balls to last for some playoff games. If you need more balls please let me know in advance. All players must be in uniform with a TEAM JERSEY. Cut off for team jerseys is July 1. If a player does not have a jersey their first at bat will be considered an auto out. 

All players must have at least a min of 25% games played to be eligible for the playoffs so DO NOT use illegal players or you may have to face giving the league your scorebook and if the scorebook is not in order then your games are defaulted. All teams must produce the scoresheets for each game played throughout the season.

5 Courtesy runners for every game. guy for guy or girl for girl or guy.

Unlimited courtesy runners for any player 55 years or older. (honor system please) and don't abuse this rule. Please make sure the player is 55 yrs or older

Home Run Rule is match plus 3 for all divisions. 

If Home Run Rule is achieved then auto out no matter what the count is

All divisions will have a 6 run per inning mercy and last inning is open

Mercy Rule is 12 runs after 5 innings or 15 runs after 4 innings.

All Double Headers are no new inning after 60 minutes

All batters start with a one and one count

Any ejection during game play will result in a one plus one game ejection.

Smoking, Vaping and Marijuana use is stricly prohibted from the diamonds and must be 25 feet away from the fence.

Tagging allowed between safe and commitment line

No metal spikes allowed but plastic is ok

Any player may be allowed to be added at any time to the bottom of the order

If committment line is touched then player must go towards home

10 minute grace period in affect but reduces time of game

USSSA with thumbprint is only bats to be used

No digging in batters box

All players with 25% or more are allowed to participate in the playoffs

Please make sure your team keeps the scorebooks just in case we have issues at the end of regular play for playoff contention

 

Coed Rules:

 

All infield players must be in line with the base paths until the ball is hit.

All outfield players must be 150 feet from home plate. I encourage the team reps to bring two small pylons for your games so there woun't be any issues.

Batting order is no more then 3 male batters in a row

If less then 10, auto out for female only

May have more then 3 girls on the field

Batting order must be consistent

No force out throws from the outfield to 1st base.
